At WindCrest Cottage our puppies are our passion and the love of our life.  We strive to
breed top quality Cotons, whether it be show or companion.  Our matings are planned
carefully in order to breed only exceptional quality puppies.  We breed for quality, not
quantity.  We have only 2 maybe 3 litters a year.

We do show and champion our Cotons.  We like to do our "Human Coton Family" socialization,
compete, and compare our Cotons with other breeders.

Our dams' and sires' are well tempered dogs that have been tested and clear of genetic
problems. Our Health Certification Testing includes: Eye's, Hip, Elbow, Cardiac, Patella, and
Thyroid.

We adhere to and are an approved Code of Ethics Breeder with parent club USACTC .  Their
website and COE Breeder Directory  can be found at
www.usactc.com/directory.shtml
Being a COE Breeder, we health test to breed only the best in order to give you the best
quality puppy ( family member).

We like to keep the "soon to be new human parents" up to date on pregnancy progress.
When time permits, we will send nice photos of babies to our new extended puppy family.
Each puppy is well socialized prior to going to their new homes. Please read link concerning
Puppy Socialization.
We keep our puppies until they are between 9 and 10 weeks old. We highly recommend and is
in our contracts that your new baby must attend " Puppy Kinder Garden" and "Dog/Puppy
Obedience Class.  Puppy Kinder Garden is a must for off leash socialization.

Every puppy bred and placed by us goes with a policy concerning genetic anomalies if found
in the first year will be replaced after the affected puppy is returned.
All companion puppies are sold with spay/neuter contracts and limited registrations.

Placement of our puppies is very important to us, with that in mind we hope to foster an
ongoing communication and rapport to provide you with continuing support for you our
puppy purchasers.
At any time if you can no longer  care of your dog/puppy, please call and we
will help you find a home for your puppy
.  Our  puppies are a lifetime commitment.

We will send you an application to fill out if requested, or use this link to fill out the
puppy
application  and if we are both in agreement to buy/place puppy, then we will mail you a
contract.  Please be sure to include your veterinarian name, phone number, and advise your
veterinarian that we will call to insure our puppies are going to the right home.

Please call if you have any questions.  We love to talk about our Cotons.
